Functions of Forestry and Wildlife Ministry
  • Formulation,implementation, coordination,monitoring and review of development policies,strategies and programs related to tourism. 
  • Sourcing and providing short, medium and long term financing and financial service for tourism entrepreneurs.

  • Promotion of both foreign and local investments in the tourism sector.

  • Maintaining a well regulated tourism industry

  • Co-ordination of the implementation of bilateral,regional and multilateral arrangements/agreements in the tourism sector.

  • Development of human resources especially entrepreneurial skills for the tourism sector.
