Attainment of full participation in Social Services by all Kenyans in the development process to enhance their Socio-economic welfare.
Mission
To create and develop a well defined Social Services delivery infrastructure as a channel for harnessing people's participation in all national and sectoral development programme
Mandate
The Ministry of Gender, Sports, Culture and Social Services is currently mandated to participate in economic development by the Presidential Circular No. 3/2003 on the Organization of the Government of the Republic of Kenya. The Ministry's mandate is to ensure access and affordable quality social services to all Kenyans.
